I grew up, went to college and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for the better part of my life. When my husband's career advancements took us to the Pacific Northwest, I looked upon the change as a way to start fresh in my life. The kids and myself adjusted to the Vancouver area (where we moved to first) just fine. It was not meant to be though, because after four years there, my husband's job brought us to a little town in Eastern Washington called Prosser. My girls and I cried all the way! I was a big city girl in a very foreign environment. What was I doing in a small town? I kept asking myself. Soon, though we adjusted to a slower pace and the small town did not seem so bad. We all made friends there, and just about the time I started to feel I was fitting in (4 years later), there was to be another move - back to California. I wanted to go really I did. One of my daughters left for college that year to the University of Washington so I still had ties here. But I was ready to go back or so I thought! While there, we built a beautiful custom home, I had a good teaching job, but I just did not like it and after one year, I was ready to come back. I missed Washington. When my husband decided to take a job in Hermiston, Oregon, I did not hesitate! I missed the Northwest so much...that was over seven years ago. The Tri-Cities has always felt like I've lived here all my life. It is a wonderful, friendly place to live, raise children, have fun and work. I enjoy meeting new people. Please send Rich or myself an email to let us know how we can be of service to you. I look forward to meeting YOU!
